Unknown gunmen have killed a military officer along the Enugu-Makurdi highway.
The victim, identified as Sergeant Bulama Aji, was serving at 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Plateau State.
It was gathered that the soldier was travelling back to Jos when he was killed.
Aji, who was dressed in mufti, was shot after he identified himself as a soldier when the bus was stopped by the hoodlums, who are suspected to be either armed robbers or kidnappers.
