Nigeria records 113 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 113 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 61, 307 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 37 cases each while Kaduna State trailed with 16 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Saturday October 17, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 56, 557 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,123 deaths so far.
