Niger Gov, Bello tests positive for COVID-19, goes into isolation

 

Governor Abubakar Bello of Nigeria has tested positive for COVID-19.

The governor announced the development via his Twitter handle on Monday.

“I have tested positive to #COVID19. However, I am asymptomatic and have gone into isolation,” he tweeted.

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), announced 300 new infections of COVID-19) pandemic outbreak in the country on Sunday.

NCDC made this known via its website.

Nigeria now has a total number of infections in Nigeria rise to 64,090.
