Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Dave Umahi on Wednesday asked the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to make more membership forms available to the South-East.
Umahi made the demand during an advocacy visit to the APC National Secretariat, in Abuja.
According to him, the 100 forms per unit was grossly inadequate when put side-by-side the demand by the entire people of the zone for an opportunity to join the party.
He noted that the people of the South East being aware of the achievements of the present administration in the zone, had decided to join the ruling party in their numbers.
He said the APC had become a party of choice, assuring that the outcome of the 2023 elections will confirm the interest of the South East people in the APC.
