Don’t play ‘tough guy’ with COVID-19, Biden warns Trump

Democratic presidential challenger Joe Biden on Friday urged Americans to take the coronavirus seriously, urging everyone to wear face mask in public after Donald Trump’s positive diagnosis.

Biden, who shared the debate stage with Trump on Tuesday, tested negative for Covid-19 on Friday.

“This is not a matter of politics. It’s a bracing reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously. It’s not going away automatically,” he told a campaign event in key battleground state Michigan.

He urged people to wear masks, wash their hands and practice social distancing, adding: “Be patriotic. It’s not about being a tough guy. It’s about doing your part.”
