FG owes 3,504 contractors N69.9bn says Fashola

‎Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, said on Thursday the ministry owed 3,504 contractors handlings various housing projects about N69.9bn.

Fashola disclosed this when he appeared before the joint National Assembly Committee on Housing, to defend the ministry’s 2021 budget estimates.‎

According to him, the sum of N76.4bn allocated to the ministry in the 2021 budget would be grossly inadequate to execute 186 projects across the country.‎
