Moments after he was projected as the winner of the United States Presidential election, President-elect, Joe Biden has sent a strong signal of what to expect from his presidency as he called for unity among Americans.
He said now that the election had come and gone, “it was time to put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation”.
In his first reaction to the victory, said he was humbled by the victory at the poll.
He said: “I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice-President-elect Harris.
“In the face of the unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted. Proving once again, that democracy beats deep in the hearts of the America.”
