Makinde orders appointees to seek approval before talking to the press‎

‎Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has directed government appointees and party officials to request approval before making media appearance.

The governor gave the directive through a circular issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun and addressed to key officers.‎

The circular stated that all media appearances by public office holders must be target driven and ensure they are well guided and coordinate

It was gathered that the move was aimed at stopping public officials from embarrassing the governor and the Oyo State government.‎
