Nigeria records 103 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 103 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 59, 841 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 39 cases each while Rivers State trailed with 21 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Thursday October 8, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 51,551 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,113 deaths so far.
