Nigeria records 118 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 118 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 61, 558 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 51 cases each while Rivers State trailed with 26 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday October 19, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 56, 697 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,125 deaths so far.
