Nigeria records 120 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 120 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 59, 465 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Rivers State recording 65 cases each while FCT trailed with 12 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday October 5, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 50, 951 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,113 deaths so far.
