Nigeria records 136 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 136 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 58, 460 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 71 cases each while Rivers State trailed with 23 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Monday September 28, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 49, 895 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,111 so far.
