Nigeria records 151 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 151 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 59, 992 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 71 cases each while Ogun State trailed with 26 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Friday October 9, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 51,614 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,113 deaths so far.
