Nigeria records 163 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 163 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 60, 266 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 113 cases each while Kaduna State trailed with 21 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Sunday October 11, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 51,735 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,115 deaths so far.
