Nigeria records 201 fresh COVID-19 infections

 

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 201 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 58, 848 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 77 cases each while Rivers State trailed with 37 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Wednesday September 30, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 50, 358 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,112 deaths so far.
