Schimchi Football Academy to feature in Ghana, Cote D’voire competitions

 

Schimchi Football Academy will be featuring in football competitions in Ghana and Cote D’voire, its Chairman, Olugbenga Adetona has disclosed.

The Academy, who at the weekend a-four team tournament organised by FOJEIS at Gbagada Mini Stadium, Lagos State, according to the Chairman is destined for the top.

He said preparation are already on to make the Academy one of the nation’s most vibrant football academy and producer of top football talents.

Adetona, popularly called Skimmer by football enthusiasts, said the victory at the tournament is pointer to great thing ahead and an indication that the Academy is headed for the next level.

In his congratulatory message, Adetona said: “The victory wouldn’t have been possible without the unity, cohesion and passion of players of the team and backroom coordination of David Ighodaro, Osobe Oluwakayode and Samson Bamisebi.”

He expressed optimism in the next phase of the team development, disclosing that preparatory matches will commence in the coming week in readiness for the Ghana competition slated for next April and another tournament in Abidjan, Cote D’voire in May.

He said people should be on the look out for more brilliant performance from Schimchi FA.

The chairman thanked and appreciated all the sponsors and fans of Schimchi FA for their loyalty and commitment, promising that the team will continue to justify their trust and investment.
