‎FEC observes one minute silence for dead former ministers


‎The Federal Executive Council at its first meeting in 2021, observed a minute silence for former ministers who died recently. ‎

The former ministers who were mourned by the FEC are Jubril Martins-Kuye and Bala Kaoje.

The meeting, which is held in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was presided by President Muhammadu Buhari.‎

Buhari, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, and some other members attended the meeting physically in the Villa.

Other members, including ministers, participated virtually.‎

Before the meeting went into a closed-door session, Buhari inaugurated three members of the Code of Conduct Bureau and a member of the Police Service Commission.

They are Ehiozuwa Ogbonayinma, Babatunde Balogun and Benedict Umeano for the CCB and Onyemuche Nnamani of the PSC.
