The remains of the late former senator, Buruju Kashamu, have been buried at his Ijebu-Igbo home in Ogun State.
The former senator who represented Ogun East Senatorial District reportedly died on Saturday, due to COVID-19-related complications at the age of 62.
His remains had arrived from Lagos on Saturday night in Ogun for burial.
He was buried at exactly 12.56pm on Sunday amidst torrents of wailing and lamentations from crowd sympathizers.
