The National Executive Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), has directed all its affiliated members to commence a nationwide strike starting from monday 28th September 2020.
This was the outcome of the emergency NEC meeting of the Congress on Tuesday.
In a statement, NLC said this was necessary due to Government’s insensitivity in raising the fuel pump price and that of Electricity Tariff. ”The die is cast and the battle line between our ruling class and the oppressed has been drawn”. the statement added.
