Nigeria records 176 new COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 176 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded three additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 55, 632 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows FCT leading the pack with 40 cases, while Lagos trailed with 34 cases.

The release further showed that a total of 43, 610 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,070 deaths so far.
