Nigeria records 325 new Covid-19 cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 325 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 48, 770 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos state leading the pack with 87 cases, while the FCT trailed with 49 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Saturday August 15, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 36, 290 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 974 deaths so far.
