Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections drop to two digits, total now 56, 256

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 79 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded four additional deaths from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 256 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State reclaiming the top spot with 30 cases while Kaduna state trailed with 17 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Sunday September 13, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 44, 152 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,082 deaths so far.
