How man died during romp with sex worker a month to his wedding

The 32-year-old truck driver, Jackson Wuyi, has lost his life during a sex romp with a prostitute in Lagos.

The incident occurred at a‎ hotel located in the Oluti area of Satellite Town.‎

It was gathered that the driver, ‎who works for an oil company in Ajah, had come to Ijegun Depot in Satellite Town to load petroleum product when he decided to have some drinks at the hotel.‎

After parking his truck at the depot, where he was supposed to lift the product, he retired to the hotel with some of his friends at about 10:00 pm.

He was alleged to have taken several bottles of an aphrodisiac before contracting a sex worker, identified as Ifeanyi Gift, 24, to spend the night with him. ‎

However, during the romp with Gift, Wuyi became unconscious and later died before he could get medical help.‎

The deceased, said to be‎ an only child of his aged parents, was preparing for his wedding scheduled for next month before he died.

Giving an account of what happened, Gift, who is currently in custody, told detectives of the ‎homicide unit of Lagos State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, CIID, Panti, Yaba, that Wuyi died during the second round of the sex romp.

She said, “On the night he approached me for my service for the night, I billed him N10,000 but he paid me N7,000.

“Immediately we entered the room we had sex. So we relaxed and slept for a while.

“At about 2:30 am, he woke me up so we could have the second round.‎

“It was while we were at it that he started to breathe heavily and, before I could do anything, he had become unconscious.

“So I raised alarm to alert people.”

Wuyi was rushed to a nearby private hospital from where he was referred to Mainland General Hospital, Yaba, where he was declared dead on arrival.

His corpse has been deposited at Yaba mortuary. ‎

Public Relations Officer,  Lagos State Police Command, Bala Elkana, who confirmed the development, said the result of an autopsy conducted on Wuyi’s remains is being awaited.

Elkana added that the police is investigating the incident. ‎
