Insecurity: Buhari meets with Katsina Gov, Masari

0

Still disturbed about the worsening security challenge plaguing the country, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with the governor of his home-state, Katsina, Aminu Masari.

Katsina state has been under the siege of bandits lately.

This is coming barely 24-hours after he gave members of his security council marching orders to rejig their intelligence strategies in order to addressing the security problems in the country.

Members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum have also expressed worries at the security problems and have fixed a meeting with the president.

Though the agenda of the meeting with the governor held inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was not unveiled as at press time, sources close to the seat of power said it will not be unconnected with the security issues in the state.
