Nigeria records 90 fresh COVID-19 infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 90 new COVID-19 infections in the country.

The country also recorded five additional death from the rampaging virus.

With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total 56, 478 cases so far.

The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC via its verified Twitter handle shows Lagos State recording 33 cases while Plateau state trailed with 27 cases.

Details of the number of cases recorded by each of the states on Tuesday September 15, 2020 are contained below:

The release further showed that a total of 44, 430 persons have been discharged while the country has recorded 1,088 deaths so far.
